A Road Map For Weight Loss

Everyday someone joins the bandwagon to start losing weight. Unfortunately as one person joins the band wagon to lose weight there are several people who decide that it is hopeless, they will never lose the weight and get off the band wagon.

But I hope that you will be the one who gets on the bandwagon to lose weight and the one who stays on. Staying on the path to lose weight is not a quick fix; it will have to be and must be a lifestyle change. You most certainly will have to change the way in which you eat, the times that you eat the amount that you eat and even the people whom you eat with. This is why losing weight is so difficult because it requires you to change.

weight loss meal plan, dukan diet, chia seeds weight loss,

And you do not want to change, you would like to eat all day long and maybe into the night and then wake up the next morning, jump on the scale and you have lost a whopping 2 pounds!

Unfortunately this type of fantasy just does not happen.

The people who get off the bandwagon of losing weight are most likely the ones who did not have a plan of attack. They did not sit and formulate a weight loss plan. You must have a plan on your weight loss if you don't then there is no point in starting. You might be on a program that might be working but because you did not have a plan or a realistic goal you abandon it and say it was not working.

The road map for success in your weight loss program is to have a specific, but realistic goal.
Be specific about your weight loss goal. Do not tell yourself that you would like to lose about 40 pounds by the end of this year. That is not a specific goal. You have not set a start date, you have not set an end date and you have not stated an exact number of pounds that you want to lose.

A specific weight loss goal is stating that you are going to start your weight loss program on January 28th at 5:00 a.m. during which time you want to lose 20 pounds and it will end at midnight on June 30. Be as precise as you possibly can. Now you have the beginning of the road map to start with.

Your next step in this process is to be realistic. Your goals have to consist of a goal that can be achieved. If you state that you would like to lose 50 pounds in the next few weeks, you are setting yourself up for failure. Not only will you not achieve this goal but also it will cause you to go out and spend money on outrageous diet fads that will give you no result but also you might even harm your body in the process.

Start your weight loss plan with goal that you know that you will be able to achieve if you just challenge yourself to achieve. Losing 10 pounds in 5 weeks is something that can be done and you will not have to start hanging from the chandelier upside down in order to accomplish it.

So start writing your road map and begin to see yourself losing the weight in by your end date.
